Outreach - 2011-2012 Mandate

To shift the perspective of teachers, counsellors, administrators, and policy makers in the educational systems of our provinces and territories so as to encourage formal teaching of computer science in the P-12 grades.  In particular, to encourage the growth of Computer Science Teachers Association or CSTA-like organizations throughout all provinces and territories of Canada.  The CSTA is a membership organization that provides opportunities for P-12 teachers and students to better understand the computing disciplines and to more successfully prepare themselves to teach and learn.  For more information on the CSTA please see http://csta.acm.org/
